Small Business Succession Workshop Coming Up

Small Business Succession Workshop will be held at the Community Foundation of South Alabama on November 4 at 4:30 p.m. at its location at 212 St Joseph Street in Mobile. Aimed at business owners planning to transition out of the workplace, the workshop intends to teach critical components of making the transition successful. Cam Marston, host of the What’s Working radio program, will discuss the emotional preparation needed. Rick Miller, certified exit planner for Pro365 Consulting, will discuss coaching a successor/replacement. Jamey Sandifer and Marc Salyers of Sandifer Wealth Management will discuss structuring income during retirement. Bob Jones, recently retired CEO of United Bank, will discuss lessons learned in his own transition.
