A1 McDuffie Automates, Moves

A1 McDuffie Sanitation has relocated to 4102 Azalea Park Court in Semmes. Formerly located further south, on Howells Ferry Road, for 23 years, the company now has a headquarters with two 14-ft-tall bay doors for servicing its equipment. Additionally, the 4,000-ft2 facility is an office to the public and a lay-down yard for equipment. Giving space for “training, service equipment storage and more, it’s a huge step for us in the right direction,” said President Kenneth Havens. The company’s service area remains unchanged: West Mobile, Semmes, Theodore, Tillman’s Corner and Grand Bay. Additionally, A1 McDuffie is almost 100% automated. It rolled out new cans to customers over the past several months so its newly upgraded automated side-loading trucks can pick them up with their arms.
