Orange Beach Middle Named A+ College Ready

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — Orange Beach Middle School was recently named an A+ College Ready School of Excellence, Mullet Wrapper reported. Over the past two years, its 8th grade class improved its overall PSAT 8/9 score by 66 points and exceeded the required growth metric of 111 points. Also, students’ aggregate evidence-based reading and writing score improved by 43 points, and their mathematics score improved by 69 points. The designation is for middle schools that recruit students and train teachers to implement high-quality, highly challenging courses in grades 6-8.
