Contemporary Art Center Fundraiser Announced

The Alabama Contemporary Art Center is holding a Meet the Artists Dinner on June 29 at 6-9 p.m. at its facility at 301 Conti Street in Mobile. The fundraiser will feature the artists of the Soil: Radical Empathy in the Act of Remembrance exhibit. There will be a special cocktail hour in the exhibition space featuring a performance by Ottie James, followed by dinner in the center’s third-floor Terrace Room by A Touch of Class Catering and a discussion led by Afiya Hooker on historical and generational trauma. Tickets are $150 per person or $1,000 per eight-seat table. Dinner and drinks are included.
