BBQ & Blues Cook-Off This Weekend

The BBQ & Blues Cook-Off is taking place on March 8-9 at Downtown Foley’s Heritage Park. A fundraiser for the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation, the event is sanctioned by the Alabama Barbecue Association Trail and Kansas City Barbecue Society. Tickets for the March 8 kickoff event, which takes place at 5-9 p.m., will include live entertainment from Josh Newcom, Brittany Grimes and Wes Loper and BBQ from the Tast-D-Licious food truck. On March 9, the event featuring many competing teams and vendors runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Heritage Park. Barbecue samples will be served starting at 11 a.m. Tickets for each day are $10 at the gate.
