DISL ROV Competition Coming To UMS-Wright

The Dauphin Island Sea Lab (DISL)’s Discovery Hall Programs will host the fourth annual Alabama SeaPerch ROV Competition at UMS-Wright Preparatory School in Mobile on February 22. In this competition, students drive a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) based on the SeaPerch design they have built to complete pool-based courses. This single-day competition for the Middle and High School Stock classes is open to school or club teams and will include two pool courses (obstacle and mission) and a technical design report. The competition winner will qualify for the International SeaPerch Challenge.
