Kites Over Mobile Returning This Month

Kites Over Mobile, organized by the City of Mobile Events Department, will be held at the USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park on April 19 at 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and April 20 at 12-5 p.m. Parking is $5 for cars and $30 for RVs, and admission is free. The event will include professional kite flying demonstrations, show kite displays, a kite hospital, kites for sale, face painting, a DJ and live music by Disco Kiss. New this year will be photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny on April 19 and Easter egg hunts on April 20. The hunts will be at 2-2:30 p.m. for ages 1-3, 3-3:30 p.m. for ages 4-6 and 4-4:30 p.m. for ages 7-10.
