USA Health To Host Community Resource Fair
USA Health is offering education and support to families of children with autism and other disabilities on July 28 focusing on community resources from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Strada Patient Care Center in the first-floor lobby. The event will also include a “coffee chat” from 9-10:30 a.m. in the first-floor conference room at Strada, where Assistant Professor Dr. Jordan Albright and graduate student Amanda Neal, with the University of South Alabama department of psychology, will present “Toileting Strategies for Children with Developmental Disabilities.” Agencies participating in the resource fair include the Alabama Department of Mental Health Autism Services, the Auburn University Extension Agency, Children’s Rehabilitation Services, Coastal Family Partners, the Independent Living Center of Mobile, Individual and Family Support Services, the City of Mobile Police Department – Victim Services and Family Intervention Team, Project Transition, United Cerebral Palsy Mobile, and the USA Regional Autism Network (USARAN).
