Quality Valve Names Davis CEO
The board of Quality Valve, a portfolio company of The Stephens Group, LLC, has appointed Benjamin Davis to CEO. Davis will assume the responsibilities of outgoing CEO Jody Dunn, who will remain with the company as a senior advisor and board member. Davis brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience in sales, business development and supply chain operations to his new role. Most recently, he served as vice president of manufactured product sales at Vytl Controls Group, where he set the strategy for commercial operations supporting the organization’s manufactured products, including leading the outside and inside sales teams and managing a broad distribution network. His earlier career includes senior roles at Sumitomo Corp. of Americas, Corpac Steel Products and DistributionNOW, where he directed operations and supply chain, led international teams across Russia and the Americas and helped architect integrated supply chain agreements with some of the most significant oil and gas players in the U.S. market. Davis holds a master of industrial distribution from Texas A&M University, an MBA in finance from Tulane University and dual bachelor’s degrees in political science and Russian language from Brigham Young University. He is an elected board member of the Valve Repair Council, part of the Valve Manufacturers Association and an ambassador for Texas A&M’s Master of Industrial Distribution program.
