ACF Seeks Proposals For 2027 Sustainability Summit

The Alabama Coastal Foundation (ACF) is seeking 2027 Sustainability Summit presentations that support the theme “Building a Stronger Tomorrow: Improving, Restoring, and Protecting Alabama’s Environment.” The 13th annual summit will take place at The Lodge at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on May 7, 2027. All presentations should include 1-3 actionable items that exhibit planning strategies across communities, businesses, educational institutions or any other groups. Preference will be given to presentations that feature local or regional initiatives, research and projects. Session topic categories are “Sustainable Development/Infrastructure,” “Energy/Water Efficiency Tools/Practices,” “Innovative Teaching Techniques,” “Healthy Communities,” “Ecological Restoration,” “Eco-Tourism” and “Climate Adaptation.” Proposals may be submitted through February 18, 2027.
