Avizo Group Annnounces Two Promotions

Avizo Group, Inc. a Gulf Coast accounting and business consulting firm with offices in Fairhope, Brewton, Foley and Mobile, has announced two promotions. Ellie LaPorte has been promoted to senior accountant. LaPorte, who joined the firm in 2022, has developed expertise across its service lines with a focus on governmental and nonprofit audits, individual and 990 tax filing, and client accounting software support. She is also certified in Kolbe Consulting, offering insights to organizations looking to enhance their team dynamics. LaPorte holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama. In addition, Javier Ahumada has been promoted to accountant II. With five years of experience in accounting, Ahumada is dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of tax planning, compliance and strategy. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Mobile.
