Mobile Native Promoted To Director At BMSS

Birmingham-based BMSS Advisors & CPAs has promoted Laura Watkins, a Mobile native, to director of audience development, Business Alabama reports. Watkins is an Auburn University alumna and has been with BMSS for five years. She has worked in marketing, public relations and business development for more than 15 years. In her role, she leads the audience development team, which is responsible for the firm’s marketing, business development, event management, public relations and client experience initiatives. Watkins is an active member of the Birmingham community, serving as a board member for Lifeline Children’s Services, Steering Committee member for Women of Influence Birmingham and volunteer for Westminster School at Oak Mountain. BMSS was established in 1991 and has grown to be one of Alabama’s top accounting and advisory firms.
