Wilkins Miller Names Partner

MOBILE, Ala. Wilkins Miller, LLC, recently announced that Lyndsey M. Dixon, CPA, CVA, has become a partner effective January 1. Dixon joined Wilkins Miller in 2012 after starting her career in public accounting in 2005. She brings more than 16 years of experience in public accounting and specializes in assisting clients with outsourced accounting needs, including special projects such as outsourced controller/chief financial officer services. She also works in forensic accounting and has business valuation experience. Dixon has taken a leadership role in launching the Wilkins Miller Women’s Initiative. She participates in designing programming for the initiative and encourages connections for women within the firm and community through networking opportunities. Additionally, Dixon serves as an expert in residence for Innovation Portal clients, for whom she provides advisory and consulting services. She is also president of the Mobile Baykeeper Board of Directors. Dixon earned her BS in commerce and business administration from the University of Alabama and an MBA from Auburn University at Montgomery. She is also a graduate of the EMERGE Young Professional Torchbearers Leadership Class III and a graduate of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants Leadership Academy Class IV.
