Wilkins Miller Partners Appointed To Chair Positions

Wilkins Miller, an accounting and advisory firm with offices in Mobile and Fairhope, has announced that Scott Browning has been appointed as the chairman of the Alabama Federal & State Tax Institute and  Michael Kintz has been appointed as the chairman of the Alabama Board of Public Accountancy. With almost 30 years of experience in public accounting, Browning brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to this role. As Wilkins Miller’s tax director, he specializes in federal and multistate tax compliance and planning for corporations, partnerships, individuals and trusts. In his new role, Browning will oversee the institute’s mission to provide high-quality education and professional development opportunities for tax professionals across Alabama. Throughout his 35-year career, Kintz has led and performed financial reporting, assurance and consulting in the outsourced accounting services area. As chairman of the board, he will play a vital role in regulating the accounting profession in Alabama.
