MBG Birthday Celebration Set For April

Mobile Botanical Gardens (MBG) is hosting a “Golden Birthday Celebration” on April 11 beginning at 6 p.m. to celebrate 50 years of MBG and the successful establishment of a $1 million endowment. Music will be by the regionally well-known Jimmy Roebuck Jazz Trio, and there will be a cocktail buffet by Georgia Roussos Catering, craft beer by Braided River Brewing Co., wine, a signature cocktail by Woodford Reserve and a 50th birthday cake by Lacey Lane Designs. Elizabeth Gelineau Photography will capture the festivities of the evening. Attire is business casual. Proceeds will go directly to enhancing the value of the gardens’ collections and furthering its educational mission. Sponsorships begin at $500, and tickets are $106 per person, reflecting MBG’s 106 acres.
