Nature Journaling Workshop Coming To MBG

 The Mobile Botanical Gardens (MBG) has announced a hands-on nature journaling workshop at MBG on May 16 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Instructor Shoshana Brand, a local artist, will hold the event outdoors in the gardens and concentrate on movement in space, nature observation and documentation. Attendees will become explorer artists and use a variety of artistic tools to create a deep connection with nature, art and themselves. They are asked to bring pencils, colored pencils, erasers and comfortable shoes. A nature journal is included in the price of $35 for nonmembers and $30 for members.
