Baldwin Pops Coming To Coliseum

The Baldwin Pops will be joined by special guest the River Region Brass Band for “All Things Brass,” a concert celebrating one of music’s most commanding sections, on April 19 at 3 p.m. at the Baldwin County Coliseum in Robertsdale. The River Region Brass Band, based in Montgomery, is Alabama’s newest British-style brass band. Conducted by Dr. Carly Johnson, chair of the Alabama State University music department, the ensemble will bring the tradition to the Baldwin County stage. The band’s president, Mike Rabig, is a former Baldwin Pops member, as is his wife, Dallas. The event is free through the support of Mayor Ruthie Campbell and the City of Robertsdale.
