Ballet Academy Opens In Daphne

DAPHNE, Ala. — The Classical Ballet Academy and Theatre LLC in Daphne recently cut the ribbon on its new studio at 25341 SR-181 S, Suite 202 in Daphne, it announced. The business offers beginner piano lessons to encourage musicality while dancing. It added that it “is dedicated to providing access to ballet to all ages, body types and technical levels. With classes available to dancers ages 1 through adulthood, there is something for everybody.” Director Kristi Bell, a Baldwin County native, has danced with Ballet Pensacola and the Ballet Theatre of Maryland professionally. She has experience teaching the Vaganova technique of ballet at Loyola University New Orleans and has been teaching in Baldwin County for more than 10 years.
