Christmas Spectacular Coming Up

Eight Mile’sAlabama School of the Arts (ASOTA) has announced the University of Mobile’s (UM) annual Christmas Spectacular for November 16-19 at Cottage Hill Baptist Church. Times are 7 p.m. on the first two days, 2 p.m. on November 18 and 4 p.m. on November 19. Tickets are on sale for $15-$55. This event is seen each year in person by more than 10,000 people, including many who travel to Mobile from across the U.S., and it will be televised throughout the Christmas season to millions and livestreamed on the website. The event brings together classic carols and modern favorites performed by more than 200 ASOTA students. Alumni may attend a reception 30 min. before each performance, during each intermission and after the performance on November 17 and 18. The receptions will have refreshments and gifts.
