Fairhope Arts And Crafts Festival Next Weekend

The 73rd Fairhope Arts & Crafts Festival is taking place on March 14-16 at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in Downtown Fairhope. The theme is “Paint the Town.” Part of that will be the unveiling of a mural downtown celebrating the festival and honoring its tradition. The mural will be located adjacent to the Fairhope Welcome Center on Section Street. Featured artist Hannah Legg will begin work on the mural in early March, with plans to do some live painting during the festival. During this three-day event, our population of 25,000 swells to nearly 300,000 as our downtown streets come alive with creativity, showcasing the best in art, food and entertainment in our blossoming community, full of southern charm,” organizer Fairhope Arts and Crafts Foundation said.
