Glassblowing Workshop Coming Up

 The Alabama Contemporary Art Center is holding teen glassblowing workshops at its location at 301 Conti Street in Mobile on April 24-May 15. In the four-week introductory class with Muffinjaw Designs, teens will learn hot glass work. Part of their training will include tool and equipment identification and use, communication and teamwork. The classes are designed for middle- and high-school students ages 13 to 18 and limited to six students to provide one-on-one art education. All materials and instruction are covered in the class fee of $300 for members and $315 for nonmembers. Registration is nonrefundable.
