History Museum Of Mobile Announces Summer Programs

The History Museum of Mobile is holding “Hands on History” summer pop-in programs on June 14 and 29; July 12, 20 and 26; and August 3. They are, respectively, “Mardi Gras Mask Workshop,” “Make Butter the Colonial Way,” “Mummification Workshop,” “Quill Pen Writing,” “Marbled Paper Workshop” and “Colonial Toys & Games.” Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and join the museum and Colonial Fort Condé for the activities and workshops designed for families. The programs are free for museum members; for nonmembers, they are included in the cost of regular admission to the museum and fort.
