MAC Launches Website For The Avenue

The Mobile Arts Council (MAC) has launched AlongTheAvenue.com, offering the community and visitors a digital hub highlighting the history, culture and revitalization of Mobile’s historic Avenue corridor. Developed by Hummingbird Ideas in partnership with MAC and the Mobile County Commission, the website complements the opening of the Isom Clemon Civil Rights Memorial Park, a landmark space honoring civil rights leaders and the legacy of the surrounding neighborhood. Visitors may learn about the Avenue’s historical significance, ongoing revitalization efforts, public art and community programming. The site also aims to preserve stories, promote cultural tourism, and provide updates on future developments tied to the park and surrounding area.
