MAC Opens Three Satellite Sites

The Mobile Arts Council (MAC) has announced three satellite exhibition sites to display the work of local artists. The Vault at Vets Recovery began through a partnership with Vets Recover, which sought artwork for its new Midtown center. Pieces there reflect themes of patriotism, military service, the Gulf Coast and the Mobile area. MAC has also partnered with Love and Adventures Studios at The Frenchman to establish Atelier Alley, a corridor gallery connecting the business spaces at 222 and 224 Dauphin St. The inaugural exhibition features Katie Thompson, whose work includes portraits, animal subjects and large-scale abstracts. Finally, The Preview at the Portal at Innovation Portal at 358 St. Louis St. is a rotating exhibition offering an advance look at works scheduled for upcoming shows at the MAC Art Gallery in Room 1927 at 6 South Joachim St. The first featured artists are Ben Kaiser and Vanessa Quintana, presenting a selection from their October 2026 exhibition “Cottage Core.” All displayed works are available for early purchase through MAC and will remain on view through the close of the October show.
