MAC Receives National Grant

The Mobile Arts Council (MAC) is the recipient of a Fiscal Year 2026 Grants for Arts Projects award of $18,000 from the National Endowment for the Arts. This funding will support “Botanical Group Show” curated by Derek Norman, “Adrift and Flow” by Cherie Peters and MAC’s Annual Members’ Show, “We the People” in MAC’s yearly exhibition series. MAC said its exhibitions not only showcase regional artistic talent, but also foster dialogue, promote cultural appreciation, provide economic opportunities for artists and promote well-being through the arts. “We are honored to receive this $18,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts in support of MAC’s Exhibition Series,” said MAC Executive Director Angela Montgomery. “This investment strengthens our ability to uplift local artists, expand access to the arts and bring dynamic creative experiences to our community.”
