Mardi Gras Celebrations Getting Underway

Mobile is kicking off its Mardi Gras season with the lighting of its Mardi Gras Tree tomorrow at 5:30-6:30 p.m. There will be music from the Jukebox Brass Band and a parade walk to Cooper Riverside Park for Saturdays at the Coop. The City of Mobile parade schedule is also set, and other coastal Alabama events related to the holiday have been compiled by AL.com. The events culminate with Fat Tuesday on February 21.
