Maritime Museum Family Fun Day Coming Up

The National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico in Mobile will host a Family Fun Day on October 19, offering free admission and entertainment to visitors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to the museum’s featured exhibits, such as “Combat to Commerce,” “Take the Helm,” “Ocean Planet,” “Discovery Hull” and “E.O. Wilson’s Field Lab,” there will be DJ Tech providing family-friendly music; welcomes from Mobile’s Azalea Trail Maids; door prizes; giveaways; a Kona Ice truck; and a grand opening celebration for the Fresh Fruit Café, which will soon offer snacks at the museum.
