MMofA Holiday Market & Open House Coming Up

The Mobile Museum of Art’s (MMofA) Holiday Market & Open House is taking place on December 5 at 2-5 p.m. The event will feature local shopping, live music from Denver Hawsey, food trucks, art activities and free admission to the museum. Local artisans will be at the Makers Market, which will feature a variety of handmade items, such as jewelry, pottery, self-care products and baked goods. During the Open House, one of MMofA’s newest special exhibitions,Gardens of Hope,” will be open, with an art activity led by artist Wanda Sullivan, whose work is the focus of the exhibition (BBN #110). The popular children’s installation,Fantastical Forest,” will also be open, and there will be stations set up for attendees to create handmade holiday ornaments.
