MMofA Market, Open House Coming Up

The Mobile Museum of Art (MMofA) will host its annual Makers Market & Open House on June 8 at 3-6 p.m. at the museum. It will feature live music from Denver Hawsey, food trucks, art activities and MMofA free admission all day, beginning at 10 a.m. Vendors will offer a variety of handmade items, such as jewelry, pottery and self-care products. During the Open House, participants are invited to visit The Museum School for creative activities designed by MMofA’s educators. All art activities will be free. MMofA’s popular children’s exhibition, “FOR CHILDREN: The Elements of Art and Design,” will be open, as will “DECADES: Looking Back/Moving Forward (1940 – 1959).”
