MMofA Music/Art Event Set For January 9

 The Mobile Museum of Art (MMofA) will host Art After Dark: Gallery Grooves Edition on January 9 at 6:30 p.m. Art will meet music as live vinyl spinning by Mobile Records will take place throughout the gallery as attendees take in the art of 1960s Hard Edge & Op Art: Tribute to The Responsive Eye. This exhibition features masterworks from optical art and hard-edge movements and artists. Visitors may also get creative at a do-it-yourself vinyl record decorating station and take home a personalized record. There will be a photo station, fondue treats and specialty cocktails. Tickets are $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers.
