MMofA Rebrands, Announces Major Exhibit

The Mobile Museum of Art (MMoA) has unveiled new branding, a new website and an exhibit coming in September that will feature masterworks from five world-renowned modern artists. MMofA’s record-breaking attendance and memberships over the last three years has led to collaboration with Mobile-based advertising agency Hummingbird Ideas and a sponsorship from the Hearin-Chandler Foundation. The new exhibition, “Gateway: From Graffiti to Gallery,” in collaboration with MasterWorks, will feature 28 pieces that tell the story of the evolution of street art through works by influential artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf, KAWS and Banksy. It will spend a full year on display and is expected to bring in visitors from across the region.
