Mobile Ballet Announces The Nutcracker Events

Mobile Ballet, Inc. is presenting The Nutcracker at the Mobile Civic Center Theater on December 8 at 7 p.m., December 9 at 2 and 7 p.m., and December 10 at 2 p.m. This year’s production will feature choreography by Katia Garza with new characters and a few surprises, and evening performances will have the addition of a live orchestra. Tickets range $22-$69. Additionally, the Nutcracker Holiday Brunch will be held on December 9 at 11:30 a.m. Attendees will be able to get up close and personal with characters including Clara, the Mouse King and the Sugar Plum Fairy. The story of The Nutcracker will be shared, and there will be photo opportunities with the characters. Seated brunch and beverages will be served. Tickets for the fundraiser, available through November 30, are $45 per child and $65 per adult.
