Mobile Ballet Brings Back Savings Card Fundraiser

Mobile Ballet has announced the return of its Nutcracker Savings Card fundraiser for the second year. The partnership with more than 50 local retailers involves them offering 20% discounts for cardholding shoppers between November 1 and 10. The $50 card unlocks exclusive discounts during the program dates. Mobile Ballet Board President Edie Terreson said, “Our goal was a holiday concept both retailers and shoppers would love. The card supports local business during this crucial early holiday shopping season. Retail studies show nearly half of consumers purchase all or most of their gifts online. We’re encouraging shoppers to shop locally, instead, in a way that supports our year-round arts enrichment programs, too.” These include the ballet’s public performances, community outreach programs and scholarships for young dancers.
