Mobile Ballet To Present Cinderella

Mobile Ballet will unveil Katia Garza’s fresh interpretation of Cinderella this March, featuring the new ballet production at Saenger Theatre Mobile, performances for K-12 students and a fundraiser. Mobile Ballet will be joined by professional guest artists and student dancers for two performances on March 28 at 7 p.m. and March 29 at 2 p.m. Tickets range from $25 to $69. Mobile Ballet’s Discover Dance program will also present two performances of Cinderella staged exclusively for K-12 student field trips—one at Coastal Alabama Community College in Bay Minette on March 20 at 10 a.m. and another at the Saenger on March 27 at 9:30 a.m. Student tickets are $5, and teachers may attend for free. Teachers must make reservations in advance. Finally, the Cinderella’s Tea Party fundraiser will be held on March 15 at the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion in Mobile starting at 2 p.m. The afternoon will feature a sneak-peek performance from the upcoming Cinderella ballet, a cast meet-and-greet, photo opportunities, storytime, treats, activities and a silent auction. Tickets are $45 per person. Tickets to attend this event sold out quickly, but a waiting list is available. The community can still support this important fundraiser through sponsorship opportunities and donations.
