Mobile Chamber Music Society Offers Free Student Admission

The Mobile Chamber Music Society has announced it is offering free admission to all students throughout its 2024-2025 concert season thanks to a grant renewal from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama and The Caring Foundation. The five-concert season begins on September 29 with the Grammy Award-winning Imani Winds and runs until March 16, 2025, concluding with the Arcis Saxophon Quartett. Mobile Chamber Music is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization that has been bringing world-renowned musicians to Mobile and the Gulf Coast since 1961. Its concerts are on Sundays beginning at 3 p.m. at the University of South Alabama’s Laidlaw Performing Arts Center. Any student seeking free admission should arrive a few minutes earlier.
