Mobile History Museum Breaks Records

The History Museum of Mobile at 111 South Royal Street recorded its largest annual attendance with 31,259 visitors in the 2021 fiscal year, which ended September 30, Call News reported. This is a 28% increase over the previous record of 24,516 in 2019. Museum Director Meg Fowler said, “That is exciting for us because it shows widespread support for the museum throughout the community,” adding that high-quality exhibitions, increased programming and a heightened awareness of the museum in the community led to the numbers.
