Mobile International Festival Takes Place This Weekend

The Mobile International Festival is taking place on November 23 at 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in Hocklander Hall and the Grand Ballroom at The Grounds. With the aim of allowing participants “to travel the world in one day,” the 41st annual event will offer a mix of attractions, AL.com reported. These start with booths representing the cultures of participating groups, an international food court and entertainment. This year’s theme is “Hidden Treasures,” which will showcase beautiful things about the various countries that people would normally not know. The festival’s Parade of Flags will be led by Mobile’s own Excelsior Band, and there will be vendors offering gifts that organizers say are inexpensive and unique. Children 12 and under are admitted free; prices are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for students older than 12. Parking is free. Updates will be made on social media.
