Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra (MSYO) Season Finale This Weekend

MSYO is holding its season finale on April 25 at 2:30 p.m. at the Saenger Theatre in Mobile. The concert’s finale will see performances by winners of the MSYO Concerto Competition: violinist Christopher Conger, a home-schooled student from Daphne; bassoonist Zachary Howell, a student at Fairhope High School; and French horn player Sofia Keeling, a student at Spanish Fort High School. Each winner will perform a movement from a classical concerto accompanied by an ensemble of professional and student musicians. The musicians and audience will be socially distanced, and masks are required throughout the performance. To accommodate social distancing onstage, MSYO will perform as ensembles. Tickets are $10 for students and $20 (advance) or $25 (at the door) for adults.
