MOJO Celebrating 20 Years, Awarding Ruffin

Mobile’s Mystic Order of the Jazz Obsessed (MOJO) is celebrating its 20th anniversary and honoring Jazzalea Award winner Creola Ruffin on September 27 at 6:30-9 p.m. Ruffin is founder of the Gulf Coast Ethnic & Heritage Jazz Festival. The E.B. Coleman Orchestra, directed by Hosea London, will perform in the sanctuary of Central Presbyterian Church at 1260 Dauphin Street in Mobile. Admission is $10 for members and $15 for guests. There will be a beverage service, and the VeganTime food truck will be onsite.
