MOJO To Present Award At Music Event

MOBILE, Ala. — The Mystic Order of the Jazz Obsessed‘s (MOJO) next event is taking place on May 23 at 6 p.m. at Club 601 @ The Elks in Mobile. In addition to music from the Suburban Jazz Quintet, the event will feature the presentation of the 2022 Robert "Bob" Spielmann Jazzalea Award to Catt Sirten, Radio Avalon and Sunday Jazz Brunch host, music promoter, educator and support of the arts. The annual award goes to an individual who has made significant contributions to jazz on the Gulf Coast. Admission is $10 for members and $15 for guests.
