MSO Announces John Williams Tribute

MOBILE, Ala. — The Mobile Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is ending its season with a tribute to composer John Williams on May 21 at 7:30 p.m. and May 22 at 2:30 p.m. at Saenger Theatre Mobile. Calling the concert “massive,” MSO says it will assemble the largest orchestra it has placed onstage since before the pandemic. It includes selections from Star Wars, Jaws, Far and Away, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Saving Private Ryan, Hook, Schindler’s List, Harry Potter, Lincoln and E.T. Tickets are on sale for $20-$89. Student tickets are $10. They can be purchased online, by phone at 251-432-2010 or at the symphony box office at 257 Dauphin Street. Masks will not be required at these performances, though MSO continues to welcome and encourage them.
