MSO Announces “Modern Romance”

The Mobile Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is performing “Modern Romance” on February 8 at 7:30 p.m. and February 9 at 2:30 p.m. at Saenger Theatre Mobile. The concert is a blend of Philip Glass’ contemporary timpani concerto with Sergei Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet. MSO’s Principal Timpanist Laura Noah is one of the featured soloists, along with special guest Peter Ferry. Patrons may also enjoy an informative pre-concert talk that begins 1 h. before each performance in Room 1927 adjacent to the Saenger entrance on Joachim Street. Tickets are $20-$96 and $10 for students.
