MSO Announces Russian Classics Concert

The Mobile Symphony Orchestra (MSO) will be performing “Russian Classics” on May 1-2 at Mobile’s Saenger Theatre. To allow for social distancing, four performances – 6 and 8:30 p.m. on May 1 and 1 and 3:30 p.m. on May 2– are offered. The concert features Principal Cellist Moisés Molina in Sergei Rachmaninoff’s “Vocalise” and Concertmaster Jenny Grégoire in Alexander Borodin’s “Nocturne.” Masks are required throughout the performance, and concerts are limited to approximately 1 hour without intermission. The theater will be sanitized between performances. Tickets to individual in-person performances are $15-82 and can be purchased online, by phone at 251-432-2010 or at the symphony box office at 257 Dauphin Street. Student tickets are $10, and the MSO Big Red Ticket program allows students in grades K-12 to attend the Sunday performances free when accompanied by a paying adult.
