MSO’s “Beethoven & Blue Jeans” Set For November 7

The Mobile Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is hosting “Beethoven & Blue Jeans” on November 7 at 7:30 p.m. and November 8 at 2:30 p.m. at Saenger Theatre Mobile. The concert features two of Ludwig van Beethoven’s biggest hits: Fifth Symphony and Fifth Piano Concerto. “Piano Concerto No. 5, Emperor” features the virtuosity of pianist Stewart Goodyear, who is joining MSO for the first time. The concert begins with Seven O’Clock Shout, Valerie Coleman’s tribute to frontline workers during the pandemic. This annual casual concert encourages audience members to join the orchestra in wearing jeans. Tickets are $25-$102. Six-concert season subscriptions are available for $132-$462.
