The Historic Oakleigh House Museum in Mobile will host a free book signing, one-act play, unveiling and more on October 24 at 1:30, weather permitting, the Historic Mobile Preservation Society announced. Author Mary S. Palmer will be on hand to sign her recently published Boyington Oak: A Grave Injustice, and her play, Remembrances: Charles R.S. Boyington, will be performed by the Joe Jefferson Players outside on the Oakleigh balcony. “A Discussion with Descendants and Characters at Serda Brewing” and the unveiling of the new Boyington Oak Marker will follow.
