Orange Beach Activities Set

The City of Orange Beach’s Continuing Excellence Program recently released its winter and spring 2021 schedule, The Islander reports. The program offers a variety of free workshops, classes and events for adults in the community. Beginner Portuguese, French and Spanish; ballet, jazz, tap, theater, line and Latin dancing; a beginner music workshop; creative writing; “BioBlitz” (in which participants explore local nature and use the iNaturalist app to take photos of plants, insects and animals for scientific data collection); self-defense classes; and more are on offer. Most events are held at the Orange Beach Recreation Center, but some foreign-language classes are virtual.
