The “Tired of Giving in: Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott” traveling exhibit will be on display at the Satsuma Public Library 5466 Old Hwy 43 during July 12-30. It will be open Mondays through Fridays at 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturdays at 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The exhibit provides an overview of the life and activism of Parks and the success of the Montgomery Bus Boycott. The exhibit by Troy University’s Rosa Parks Museum was made possible by a grant the museum received from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. It features 12 panels with graphics and text and interactive exhibits that can be accessed through visitors’ smart devices. Educational resources such as lesson plans for teachers and a scavenger hunt will be available online.
