MOBILE, Ala. — Classical Ballet of Mobile has announced Jacqueline Bodet Stepan as director of the nonprofit dance school and performing company, effective upon the commencement of its fall semester. Stepan, a regional marketing consultant, has been a lifelong dancer who began her training under world-renowned choreographer and master ballet teacher Winthrop Corey and Ann Duke in Mobile. She concluded her semi-professional ballet career with New Orleans Ballet Theatre in 2017.
