EV Event To Be Held At Greer’s In Downtown Mobile

Members of the Bay Area Chapter of Drive Electric Alabama will showcase a variety of electric vehicles (EVs) on August 9 at the Bay Area EV Showcase at Greer’s Market at 260 St. Louis Street in downtown Mobile. EV owners will be available for one-on-one conversations with anyone interested in learning more about EVs. Members of the chapter will show off a range of EV makes and models and offer information about EV technology, range, affordability and what it’s like to drive electric daily. There are approximately 15,000 EVs registered in Alabama, and all-electric vehicles make up approximately 8% of all new vehicle sales in the United States. The federal tax credits for new and used EVs end on September 30.
