Harbin Named Bankplus Regional President

Mobile’s BankPlus has announced the addition of Terry Harbin as its Southwest Alabama regional president. Harbin brings more than 25 years of managerial and operational experience, having been in leadership roles such as market president, chief operating officer, city president and bank executive at financial institutions throughout Mobile. His most recent position was managing partner and investor at Affordable Homes Gulf Coast, which focuses on building energy-efficient homes and reducing insurance costs for low- to moderate-income buyers. Harbin is a graduate of Abilene Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. His professional and civic involvement include Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce board chair, Victory Health Partners Governance Committee chair, United Way of Southwest Alabama board chair and fund drive chair, University of Mobile board chair, Mobile Chamber commerce advisor, and Envision Coastal Alabama chairman.
